If you have walked along Tennyson Street on a sunny afternoon or spent a weekend morning near the pavilion at Ralston Central Park, you know how special the family energy is around Northwest Denver and Arvada. We live in a vibrant, fast-moving community, but finding analog, screen-free spaces where we can slow down together can feel surprisingly tricky.  

That is where Infinite Art Studio comes in.

We are building a warm, inclusive creative hub designed for people of all ages. Centering kids in our neighborhood life transforms everyday places into real community spaces. When we create environments where young people are trusted to explore, make choices, and express themselves, the entire community feels more grounded and connected.

Creative Freedom at Every Age

Art is sometimes treated like a nice extra, but hands-on making is a core part of being human.  

• Early Learners (Ages 3.5 to 5): Through our Mark Makers invitations, little ones explore pure sensory discovery. Tearing tape, squeezing liquid watercolors onto coffee filters, and placing loose parts build fine motor control and spatial awareness long before a child ever holds a pencil to write.  

• Elementary Creators (Ages 6 to 11): In our CO Creators Club, creative freedom builds real resilience. When a cardboard sculpture wobbles or paint blends in an unexpected way, kids learn to navigate the messy middle phase of making and pivot with confidence.  

• Adults and Caregivers: Sitting side-by-side with young people to cut paper portraits or experiment with clay gives grown-ups a rare, low-pressure space to step away from screens and connect without expectations.  

When kids, teens, and adults share space and make things side-by-side, art becomes a universal language that connects generations.  

The Choice-Based Workshop: Our TAB Philosophy

All our pop-ups and programs are rooted in a framework called Teaching for Artistic Behavior, or TAB. TAB is a choice-based art philosophy centered on one core idea: the participant is the artist, and the studio is their workshop.  

In traditional craft setups, everyone makes the exact same step-by-step project to take home matching items. While structured crafts can be fun, choice-based spaces build genuine critical thinking and self-expression.  

We set up organized, material-rich stations stocked with high-quality supplies:  

• Mark-Making & Painting: Tempera cakes, liquid watercolors, and broad drawing surfaces.  

• 3D Architecture & World-Building: Cardboard, recycled forms, and masking tape.  

• Sensory & Loose Parts: River rocks, glass gems, fabric scraps, and buttons for open-ended play.  

Instead of telling anyone what to make, our team acts as studio coaches. We share quick demos on tool safety or technique, then step back so you and your young artists can choose your own path, test ideas, and bring unique visions to life. 

Meet Jana: The Heart Behind the Studio

Hi, I am Jana Hope Williams! I am the founder, master artist, and curriculum director behind Infinite Art Studio.  

For over fifteen years, I have worked as a professional artist, arts program director, and community space manager. I spent six years running a creative hub right here in Denver, learning how physical spaces can bring people together and turn neighborhood strangers into long-time friends.  

I designed Infinite Art Studio because I believe art education should be accessible, high-quality, and joyful for every single person who walks through the door.  

Our Pop-Up Era & The Road to 2027

Right now, Infinite Art Studio is in its active pop-up phase! We are partnering with local neighborhood spots, breweries, and parks across NW Denver and Arvada to host drop-in chalk art, paper portrait nights, and hands-on workshops for all ages.  

These pop-ups let us meet our neighbors and bring joyful art straight to the community while we prepare to open our permanent third-space studio doors in early 2027. Our future home will serve as your trusted creative extension, a cozy neighborhood spot complete with dedicated areas for youth, teens, and adults to gather, learn new skills, and hang out.
